Yokai Parade
Supernatural Monsters from Japan
Step into a world of mystery, imagination, and tradition.
This fascinating exhibition takes you on a journey into the realm of yokai, the supernatural spirits, monsters, and folkloric beings that have captivated Japanese culture for centuries. Through traditional scrolls, woodblock prints, toys, and films, Yokai Parade explores how these creatures evolved from sources of fear and wonder into beloved icons of art and storytelling. Whether you’re drawn to the eerie, the whimsical, or the culturally rich, this exhibit invites everyone to discover and enjoy the extraordinary world of yokai, where the supernatural sparks curiosity and delight.
Tuesday, January 20 – Tuesday, February 24
