a space allowing MTSU Art & Design students to curate an art show or showcase their work in a gallery space.

Emergent Forms: The Shape of Becoming

An invitational art exhibition from Tashina Marie Studios, featuring the work of Linda L. Anderson, Abigail Corman, Carolyn King, Michelle Meadow, Chelsea Moulder, Jarrid Scott XII, and S. Manya Stoumen-Tolino.

“These artists ask what becomes possible when material is released from the boundaries of what it has been told it should be. It becomes a vessel for something freed from expectation. In that space beyond convention, material and form become sites of transformation, where the familiar can give way to something not yet defined, and possibility remains open-ended.

“Form becomes less a finished condition than something continually in the process of becoming.”

Want to exhibit in 210?

 Would you like to show your work in a gallery? Reserve a spot ToddArtGallery@mtsu.edu! When reserving a gallery showing slot, you must install your work before the opening date. If, for any reason, you can no longer fulfill your reserved spot, you must cancel, at a minimum, 2 weeks before your opening date. If your cancellation does not fall within the allotted cancellation date, you will be restricted from showing in any of our galleries for the remaining academic school year.
