MTSU’s Fall 2026 BFA Studio Art Exhibition, of Reclamation. Five black-and-white student portraits appear in vertical torn-paper strips against a textured tan background. Gothic-style lettering displays the exhibition title, with November 13 printed along the left edge and “BFA Studio Art Exhibition” on the right.
Sanctuary (2025), a charcoal drawing by Axel Saurez Garcia, depicts an isolated Gothic-style church with a tall bell tower beside an expansive clearing surrounded by dense evergreen forests. Dramatic, swirling storm clouds dominate the sky, creating an ominous atmosphere. Tiny human figures and distant vehicles emphasize the landscape’s vastness and the church’s isolation.
